Who We Help
Back pain can affect work, sleep, training, concentration, and confidence in movement. At Peak Performance Chiropractic, we provide assessment-led chiropractic care for people dealing with lower back pain, stiffness, movement-related discomfort, and back pain that is affecting day-to-day life.
Back pain is common, but it is not always the same
Back pain can present in different ways. For some people, it feels like a dull ache or stiffness. For others, it may feel sharp, tight, one-sided, or worse with certain movements such as bending, lifting, sitting, standing, or getting up after rest.
Some episodes come on suddenly, while others build up over time. In some cases, pain may stay local to the back. In others, it may also be associated with discomfort into the hip or leg.
Because back pain can have different drivers and aggravating factors, a proper assessment matters. The first step is not simply deciding how to treat it, but understanding what may be contributing to the problem and what the most appropriate next step is.
Who we commonly see for back pain
We commonly see people with back pain that is affecting everyday life, work, exercise, or sport.
This may include:

- People who have “thrown out” their back
- Gym-goers with lower back pain around exercise

Explain
We discuss findings, options, and what’s most appropriate for your goals.

If all the lights are green, we go ahead and get started with treatment!
Why patients choose Peak Performance Chiropractic in Linden
Patients choose our Linden practice because we aim to combine clear assessment, practical care, and straightforward communication. Rather than rushing straight into treatment, we focus on understanding what is going on, what may be contributing to the problem, and what the most sensible next step is for you.
When we refer / red flags
Chiropractic care isn’t appropriate for every condition.
If we identify signs that suggest further investigation or medical care is needed, we’ll recommend the relevant next step.
This may include imaging or referral to a GP, physiotherapist, biokineticist, or specialist.
